Addison leads programs and operations as the Executive Director at WellDone. Prior to WellDone, he was an engineering program manager for Google’s hardware team where he helped develop and launch Chromebook and Android devices. Addison also created and ran the circular economy program within the hardware product team. He earned Bachelor’s degrees in International Studies and Business from Duke University, where he also led the wrestling team as captain. Today, Addison continues his athletic pursuits by competing in triathlons and adventure endurance races.
Addison is a dedicated and committed advocate for wellness, sustainability, and wildlife conservation. His mission is to advance the relationship between human activity and the use of the world’s natural resources.
Austin has more than 10 years of software engineering experience including work at BigFix and IBM. He currently runs Winged Technology, a boutique software architecture, design, and development consultancy. Austin was named to the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 list as a co-founder of Arch Systems. Arch was a commercial scale-up of MoMo, WellDone’s mobile monitoring solution for smarter infrastructure, which Austin co-developed. As the former Executive Director of WellDone, Austin developed innovative solutions to combat the water and sanitation crisis.
Austin has a BA in Music and a BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He is an avid runner, rock climber, reader, and adventurer. He has traveled, run, climbed, and explored in more than 35 countries.
Jim is an advisor of WellDone International. As a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University, he also leads an international research effort to evaluate water policies in the Middle East through hydrologic-economic modeling analysis. Prior to his PhD, Jim worked as a water resources engineer for MWH.
Jim also holds an MS in Earth System Science from Stanford and a BS in Environmental Engineering from the UCLA. Jim is passionate about working towards a more sustainable and equitable world. Jim loves to spend his free time reading anything he can get his hands on, climbing mountains, wandering record stores, and writing.
Currently a Director of Design at Google VR/AR, Joshua brings over a decade of experience in design and entrepreneurship, helping to build world class products that serve millions of people. Joshua founded Hattery, a shared work studio for startups focused on design and culture. He also founded the design-thinking startup Soup (formerly Brute Labs) and has been working to apply great design to aid in humanitarian goals.
In addition to speaking for TEDx and receiving numerous international design awards, Joshua is also an experienced runner. He holds a degree in Design from the University of California, Los Angeles.
